Mahendra Singh, Author of the Book "Rawal Family of Amka" and Friends

There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.

St. Thomas Aquinas

In the long journey of life, you meet different people at different point of time. Generally, association with such people is confined to limited period. You part ways once the purpose is served.  But there are some people with whom you have a very long association. In real sense, they are the friends. I am fortunate to have some friends with whom I have a long or you can say a very long and continuous association.  I have chosen some friends   whom I know for more than fifty years. Some of them I know for more than sixty and a few more than seventy years. When I am writing a book on my family, I cannot ignore them as they are also equal if not more than a family .
