AUTHOR AND FRIENDS

TRUE FRIENDS ARE NEVER APART, MAY BE IN DISTANCE BUT NEVER IN HEART.  

In the long journey of life, we meet numerous people. Association with a few of them is very short. With some, it may be fairly long like office colleagues. However, it discontinues once you or he leaves  office. But friendship with some continues life long. I am fortunate to have some friends whose active association with me is now more than  fifty years. Some of them are no more now. But a large space of my heart is filled with their memories.  I have selected ten such persons. Their photographs and a very brief introduction is given below.

Shri V..P. Singh. He retired as Executive Director from BHEL First came in touch some time in 1950-51
Shri N..P. Singh. He is the younger brother of Shri V.P. Singh. He retired as Executive Director from a reputed private Company. Known since 1950-51. He is now no more.
Col. H G. Vashishtha. Retired as Colonel from the Army.. Known since 1952.
Shri R P Dube after resigning from Central Government, he joined politics and contested Lok Sabha election on Tiwari Congress Ticket and lost. Known since 1962. Now he is no more.
Shri Balbir Singh Saini. He was a businessman. Known since 1963. Now no more.
Shri L. R. Garg. He is a farmer having large chunk of agricultural land in Shri Ganganagar (Raj) Known since 1964.
Shri O.M. Solanki. He retired as Executive Director from National Fertilizers Ltd. Known since 1966. He is now no more
Shri S.K. Verma. He retired as Senior Petitions Officer from Prime Minister's Office. Presently settled in his home town Mirzapur,. Known since 1968
Shri N.R. Pillai. He retired from Bharat Aluminium Comany from the post of General Manager Known since 1966.
Shri A Sahasranaman, an IAS officer of J & K Cadre. After retirement, settled in Chennai. Known since 1966.
